Of course, becoming a Yoga teacher takes practice, dedication and commitment. On our Moksha TTC we provide you with well structured training, teaching you all the skills you need in a supportive friendly environment dedicated to offering a professional course, lifelong learning and training.

The Moksha TTC is developed and taught by our team of teachers, all committed experts in their specialised areas of Yoga. Combining more than two decades of extensive teaching and people centered business practice, the Moksha teachers all have well established international careers, either teaching and/or managing their own Yoga schools – all with one united focus, to share the practice and philosophy of traditional Yoga.

Our mission, or our Dharma, is to teach with respect and integrity a Yoga which belongs to the living, present moment, whilst remaining rooted and secure in its traditional foundations and philosophy.

Moksha 200 hours TTC is offered annually.

Intensive training

We offers this course as a 21-day with additional online preparation time and follow-up assignments. The intensive format allows you to fully dedicate yourself to a transformational practice

Beautiful setting

Students will stay at a retreat centre situated Scansano, a timeless stone farmhouse nestled amidst the rolling hills of Tuscany. We absolutely love everything about the retreat centre; its location, our wonderful hosts, delicious food and the overall level of attention to detail that simply makes it a special place.

Our advanced level teachers, are well established internationally, integrating decades of professional teaching & dedicated practice, hey join together in order to pass on and share their knowledge to new future teachers.

Small groups

Group size for this training is limited to 10 students in order to guarantee individual attention and a high quality teacher training.

The learning doesn’t end after those 200 hours and for this reason we will continue to offer insight and mentorship after the teacher training has ended.

The course will also include valuable ‘insider’ guidance on how to get started with in the professional world of Yoga, focusing on business opportunities and how to create them, building your own business, to establish a fulfilling career in the thriving world of Yoga and Well Being.

Five Points of Yoga

Central to Moksha Yoga are the Five Points of Yoga, a holistic framework for well-being and spiritual growth. Our training will guide you through each of these points: Proper Exercise (Asanas), Proper Breathing (Pranayama), Proper Relaxation (Savasana), Proper Diet (Vegetarian), and Positive Thinking and Meditation (Vedanta and Dhyana).

Curriculum

Our curriculum is designed to provide you with a well-rounded education in yoga philosophy, anatomy, teaching methodology, and practical skills. You’ll delve into Sivananda’s teachings, study the Bhagavad Gita, explore the Yoga Sutras.

Teaching Methodology

Throughout the training, you’ll gain valuable insights into effective teaching methods that align with Sivananda’s principles. You’ll learn how to structure classes, guide students through postures, offer personalized modifications, and create a supportive and inclusive class environment.

Living Yoga Off the Mat

Moksha Yoga isn’t confined to the mat – it’s a way of life. Our training will empower you to integrate the principles of yoga into your daily life, fostering self-discipline, mindfulness, and a deeper understanding of the mind-body connection.

Federico Zanchetta

Federico Zanchetta’s style of teaching is both rare and bold within the culture of contemporary western yoga, firmly rooted in the traditional Hatha Yoga practice, with respectful adherence to the philosophy and genuine essence of Yoga, Fede’s authenticity & gentle generosity shine.

A former student and graduate of the prestigious Sivananda Vedanta School in India, Federico offers a lifetime of study. Passing on decades of discipline and dedication he gives regular yoga workshops and teacher training courses both locally in Portugal, as well as internationally.

Today, Federico divides his time between supporting the next generation of yoga teachers and Practitioners on the Moksha teacher training program, alongside teaching Hatha Yoga and Meditation for the beautifully curated 108 Yoga Retreats, held in Portugal.

With his constant commitment to sharing this practice,he teaches practitioners the valuable tools which allow them to develop, balance and orient themselves, in order to live a more peaceful fulfilling life in our challenging modern times.This in turn enables students to gain greater personal understanding, alongside creating  a stronger sense of self-awareness.

Engaging, in-depth classes and workshops are offered to students of all levels, who wish to integrate the positive benefits of Hatha Yoga into their daily lives.

Focus is primarily on balancing the physical and mental aspects of this practice. Learning and developing knowledge in Pranayama,Yoga Nidra, Mantra, Meditation along with the benefits of silent walking, students experience together, both as individuals and within the group the guidance, personal clarity, and physical ease that an integrated, genuine union of Yoga can offer to us all.

Paolo Quircio

Paolo was born in Rome, Italy, and has been traveling since 18. Most of his trips have been to India, his favorite country. In India he started practicing Yoga, out of sheer curiosity. Then he got involved in it, and started practicing in Rome, under the guidance of his wife Roshni, a very experienced teacher (by the way, she is Indian). In the meantime, he has regularly been guest to the Sivananda Ashram in Rishikesh. In 2007 he did his TTC (Teachers Training Course) in Neyyar Dham, Kerala, and in 2009 he participated to the ATTC (Advanced TTC), again in Neyyar Dham. Since then, he has been teaching regularly in Rome, and in 2014 in the Sivananda Ashram in Uttarkashi. In the last few years he has been dealing mostly with the theoretical part of Yoga, and, in particular, with the Vedanta Philosophy. Together with his wife Roshni he has been leading several TTC in Rome, where he covered the teaching of Philosophy theory, Bhagavad Gita and Vedanta.

Moksha Teacher Training Course

At a Moksha Hatha Yoga Teacher Training, you will engage in a comprehensive curriculum that covers a range of topics, encompassing not only physical postures (asanas) but also the broader philosophy, lifestyle, and practices associated with the Sivananda Yoga Vedanta tradition.

Here’s an overview of what you can expect to study during a Moksha Hatha Yoga Teacher Training:

Hatha Yoga Asanas

You will learn and practice a variety of yoga postures, focusing on proper alignment, breath awareness, and the holistic benefits of each pose. Asanas are integral to the Sivananda tradition’s approach to maintaining physical health and flexibility.

Pranayama

Upon completion of this yoga teacher training, students are eligible to register with World Yoga Federation (founded by Swami Vidyanand creator of Transformational Yoga, founder of SriMa International School of Transformational Yoga, and also the Founder of Yoga Alliance International, Meditation Alliance International, Yoga Alliance India, Yoga Alliance Europe, Yoga Alliance Africa – organizations devoted to nurturing authentic Yoga traditions throughout the world and foster a community of Authentic Yoga & Meditation teachers, schools and practitioners). Registration with World Yoga Federation provides a globally recognized credential.
